9 weeks old and ever so cute

Is he cuter when he's sleeping or when he's awake? This picture makes that a tough call.

He loves rooting for the Cyclones and for the Huskers. He fit into the ISU outfit first.

This is Cale's new favorite thing to do: put almost his whole fist into his mouth. He doesn't suck his thumb... he sucks in index finger. His hands are mesmerizing.

This is Cale's room. He loves getting his diaper changed here. We love the Diaper Champ that Chris and Marc gave to us. His room is really great and we think he loves it.

Cale's First Big Road Trip

Cale relaxed with the Grinch the night before we headed out to Lincoln, NE for his baptism.

This is the cake we had made for his baptism. It tastes just as good as it looks.

After the baptism Cale and Mom and Dad headed to Grandma Joni and Grandpa Tom's house. In all we travelled about 15 hours in the car. He did a great job and proves once again he is the cutest and possibly the best baby in the world.

Cale found a new friend. This little penguin lives in the front pocket of Cale's new corduroy overalls.

Wild thing! Either his hair is slowly falling out or his head is getting bigger, or both. He's sporting the little monkey hairdo in thisp icture. He just loves getting his diaper changed by daddy.

Cale's graduated. Mommy no longer has to put socks on his hands. They are free to grab toys and rub tired eyes.

Almost 6 weeks old

Just in time for Easter... what a cute (somewhat surprised) little bunny!

Cale started smiling at about 41/2 weeks old. He's approaching 6 weeks and just loves smiling at his mommy and daddy.

Cale and daddy stayed warm inside during an ice storm the weekend of Feb. 24th. Mommy had to go into work. KWQC lost power for about 4 hours that accumulated to about 1/2 inch thick. This is what it looked like on our deck. We had freezing rain for hours, then about 5 inches of snow, then rain. The rain helped melt the ice. We're now preparing for yet another storm to hit on the 28th.

Baby Cale just keeps getting cuter. Cale's lounging around after getting his diaper changed.

Baby's 1st Valentine's Day. Grandma Joni & Grandpa Tom sent him these cute bears. The bears took an immediate liking to Cale.

Cale couldn't wait to open his Valentine's Day present. Mommy could never wait either. She let him open it up. I hope the socks on his hands for the last 3 weeks don't scar him for life. I just don't want him to scratch up his face.

Baby's Doing Great

We're working on this as an announcement. Mom's still fiddling with it.

Our naked little baby delivered by the stork. Okay, another attempt by mom to make a really cute announcement. It's amazing how much he's changed in just 2 weeks.

We had another new arrival at the Sorge household. The Saab convertible has been traded in for an SUV. Cale's got a new car!!!
