Kari & Troy's New Baby

This is the newest member of the Sorge Clan. Meet Alexis Sue. She was born on the December 21st. She weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces. Kari, Troy and Brandon are all doing well. "Lexie" definitely came out with chubby cheeks. Grandma Sorge says she's lost some of those plump features and is catching a lot of Z's.
Korey and Kent's mom and dad came to visit for two days. It was nice that Korey could make it here all the way from sunny Boca Raton.
As for Lexie's cousin, well, he's still hanging out. I thought maybe he would like to make a New Year's Eve appearance, but no such luck.
12 days to go... but who's counting?

Kids & Christmas

These are our 2 nephews and Ethan (just like a nephew, but really my cuz's kid). Anyway, Kent took some great photos of them at Xmas. Conrad is 2. Ethan is 9 months. Brandon is 3. Brandon really like his McQueen car that makes noise. Conrad loved his fish aquarium. So did Ethan who is seen staring at Nemo with Daddy Jack. We had a great Christmas. My mom and dad came to visit and we had a great time.

Getting Ready for Baby

We're getting ready for our new baby. We're having a boy. Due date: January 12th.

This is the cradle Kent's dad Harvey made by hand. It is so beautiful and will be perfect for naps. We have it in our livingroom right now.

Kent thinks the baby will arrive on Jan. 7th. I do not have my hopes up. I'm thinking one week overdue. Wish us luck.

First Entry

This is our first entry into the world of blogging. I'm 30. Kent will turn 30 in February. It's about time we step into the 21st century as we're not getting any younger.
We started this page mostly because we have a little one coming into the world any time now.
We want to be able to post photos and stories and video easily.
Jill Herring Nachtman inspired us. Way to go, Jill!
She and her husband Matt are living in Zurich and we've been able to see all of their adventures through their awesome blog.
