Better Late than Never

Cale enjoys Easter with the Bunny that's more his size.

Cale gets dressed up in the Chicken costume. It was for maybe 5 minutes and that was 5 minutes longer than what Cale wanted.

Mom, please take this off of me. We spent Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was fun. I got candy and an Elmo DVD and some more toys and socks. Grammy and Granpy also got some peacocks that are fun to watch.

Mom and Dad got me this really cool Duckie chair. I love it so much that every morning I go and hug the duckie. I even know how to quack like a duck. I'm walking 5 or 6 steps at a time and then I crawl. I still love all pens, remotes and turning off and on the lights and TV.

Feeding the Deer

Grandpa and Cale look at all the deer outside the window.

With binky firmly in mouth, Grandpa shows Cale how to feed the deer.

When you get sick of chasing a nearly 1 year old around, what do you do? You stick him in a box and give him some bows and paper. I'll take that Christmas present every time.

Cale busy playing with some of his new toys. We had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a wonderful 2008.

Here's to a great 2008

Cale's ready to ride into a new year on his new Walker/Rider Lion.

We spent Christmas visiting 3 states. This is the first state: Nebraska. Cale was very good during the entire trip. He got a lot of great presents from both sets of Grandparents. Cale also got to go swimming with Grandma Joni.
Here's Cale with Grandma Linda.
We even found time to meet with Kasey and Julie Marler. We stopped at the outlet mall in Omaha. Cale got to me Trey and Eva. Mom found some bargains.

I Want You to Have a Merry Christmas

Cale's obligatory Christmas sweater. He loves presents and the tree.
This is the flower arrangement my Aunt Julie made for my mom's birthday party. She's truly gifted at creating beautiful arrangements. The party was a huge success. And yes, that is a 40 carat diamond sitting on the table.
Another beautiful shot of the ice storm from photographer Kent Sorge.

Disney on Ice: Finding Nemo

Isn't Cale the cutest thing ever? This is Cale on Grandpa's lap during Disney on Ice. We went to Finding Nemo. Good thing I couldn't "Find my wallet" because Disney sure wants families to shell out the cash for stupid little Nemo merchandise that costs a fortune.
Here's Cale at Disney on Ice on Grandpa's lap. There's only so much skating and singing a little boy can take.
And yes... those are fish eyes where boobs should be. Weird and distracting. What an odd show.

More from December

Mom surprised at the party. She didn't fall for the "bats at the country club" line, but we got her to go inside anyway.
Danny and Tammy holding Cale.
Grandpa introduced Cale to a new way to soothe his teeth. Just put those gums on the cold glass.
Here's Daddy and Cale enjoying time together. It's easier to have Cale on your shoulders because you know he's not getting into the cat food or trying to turn off the computer.

The month of December

This month has been very busy. Here's glimpse into the ice storm from December 10th. Cherry Icee anyone?

Cale's getting ready to help pull a surprise party on Grandma Joni.

On December 15th, we threw my Mom Joni a surprise birthday party at the Pine Lake Country Club. I couldn't have done it without Kent, Julie, Danny and Tammy's help.

Judy, Tim, Larry and Kate with mom and Cale. Larry and Cale really bonded even though Cale didn't have a nap all day and stayed up until midnight.
